Spending like drunken sailors, as the saying goes. I love the library just as it is and without going further into debt. At least lets get on top of the obligations we've recently taken on before taking on more. The library now closes early on Friday and shorter hours on Saturday and only 1-5 on Sunday, and I don't see many people taking advantage of it. The argument that we need to do it NOW because it will cost more if we do it later is the same argument made for all the prior projects which have hung a yoke of debt on the shoulders of the citizens.

Good luck in getting the new library. We have one coming in where a grocery store used to be here in Baltimore County, Maryland (my Maryland).
