YORK COUNTY, VA – Residents will have the chance to weigh in on upcoming improvements to Route 171 (Victory Boulevard) during a public hearing hosted by the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Villages of Kiln Creek Recreation Center, 2801 Kiln Creek Parkway in Yorktown.

The session will offer details on planned enhancements along the busy stretch between Route 17 (George Washington Memorial Highway) and Route 134 (Hampton Highway). Attendees can view proposed designs, speak directly with project staff, and submit comments in person.

VDOT's plans aim to ease congestion and improve safety, with road widening, updated turn lanes, intersection technology, and a new storm sewer system.
