For FY27, City staff recommends grant funding for more than 60 community organizations, totaling over $4.5M. Colonial Williamsburg is expected to receive the largest grant totaling $1.3 million. The City is also obligated to give $955,000 to the Williamsburg Area Transit Authority. The Williamsburg City Council will hear more details about staff recommendations at a meeting later this week with decisions expected as part of the FY27 budget process. (Williamsburg Independent)
